Planning for a funeral is now an important step in retirement planning. More and more Australians are making their own funeral plans, but as consumers we don’t have a good understanding of the funeral products we are buying according to an ASIC research report completed in 2012.

Each year there are many people who face Christmas for the first time since they have experienced the passing of a loved one. It can be a difficult time, and many people are at a loss as to how to prepare for a celebration whilst managing their personal grief.
Aware of this need we have planned a special event to be held at the Barrabool Hills Centre assisting all families in Geelong region with such a preparation.
The evening will provide an opportunity to:
• Hear some practical suggestions that will assist you and your family prepare for Christmas.
• Participate by lighting a candle, and releasing a balloon in memory of your loved one.
• Join others for a chat over supper.
We encourage you to invite friends who you think may also benefit from, or may like to support you at,
this event. If attending, we would appreciate your RSVP for catering purposes prior to Tuesday 19th November

Tuckers Musical Mornings at GPAC
As an essential part of GPAC’s daytime entertainment calendar, Musical Mornings brings an endless parade of Australian’s best loved performers to Geelong. Recently joining with Diversitat to broaden the program's appeal additional pre-show entertainment by the region's cultural groups is also presented. Tuckers' sponsorship helps to subsidise ticket prices for all ‘Musical Mornings’ performances allowing GPAC to provide more affordable ticket prices all year round.
Concerts are held every month, on a Wednesday & Thursday.
Tea, coffee and light entertainment are provided before the show.
'The Spirit of Christmas'

Australian music theatre stars John Bowles and Michelle Fitzmaurice reunite to perform this very special Christmas concert. The Spirit of Christmas will be a wonderful mix of traditional Christmas carols and contemporary Christmas songs, along with loads of laughs. Joining them will be Northern Bay College students, performing on stage.
