1925 Packard

By 1902, the Packard Brothers were building vehicles that were consistently considered to be the elite in luxury automobiles. The Packard hearse was manufactured in 1925, at a time when the company were an indisputable leader in their field of prestige automobiles. The vehicle has a 6 cylinder motor and a manual transmission. It's exterior is maroon with silver trim with a grey interior.    


1926 Chevrolet

This hearse was originally built in 1926. Previously used by Hodges & Son Funeral Directors in Castlemaine, the hearse was purchased by Tuckers in 1993, from a private collector in Harcourt, Victoria. Hundreds of hours were spent on the restoration of this vehicle as it was originally manufactured as a horse drawn hearse. It has a four cylinder OH/V motor with a manual transmission.

1939 Ford Mercury

This vehicle was built in 1939 by Martin & King, Melbourne, for Lester & Son Funeral Directors of Albury, NSW. It purchased by Tuckers in 1995 from Leahy Funeral Directors in Rutherglen. Hundreds of hours were spent on completely restoring this vehicle using the beautiful timber Victorian Ash. It has a V8 engine and is petrol driven with a manual transmission.

 
1960 Ford Galaxie

This Ford Galaxie hearse was purchased by Tuckers in 2010. The name 'Galaxie' was used for only the top models in Ford's full-size range from 1959 to 1961. It’s V8 engine is petrol driven and it has an automatic column shift transmission.
