Tuckers Funeral & Bereavement Service, respects your privacy.

We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth) and in some circumstances the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic).

We collect your personal information for various reasons. These include, but are not limited to, collection of personal information to provide funeral services to you or others, entering into prepaid funeral arrangements, and grief and bereavement counselling.

We are required by law to collect certain information, such as health information, upon death of an individual.

If you do not provide us with the information we require, we may not be able to provide you with our services, or we may not be able to provide you with all of our services.

We may be required to disclose your personal information to parties outside our organisation, including government agencies such as the Coroner, health practitioners or counsellors, ministers or clergy or mortuary staff.  We may also disclose your personal information to other agents or contractors to fulfil our primary functions to you.

Privacy Laws allow you to access your own personal information.  There may be some limitations on your access, for instance, we may require you to verify your identity.  We may also deny your right to access to personal information where the law requires or allows us to do so.
