Tuckers’ Geelong funeral services team proudly supports local health care services as an Appeal Partner to the Barwon Health Foundation.
The Barwon Health Hospital Appeal supports the region’s health services by raising money for different areas and priorities within Barwon Health. These include facilities within the Geelong Hospital, the Andrew Love Cancer Centre, the McKellar Centre and community and mental health services throughout the region.
Current Major Project – Project Love
#Projectlove will follow on from the successful Special Care Nursery Project and is a two-year fundraising campaign, raising much-needed funds the redevelopment of the Andrew Love Cancer Centre (ALCC) Chemotherapy Day Ward and Pharmacy. This redevelopment will make a big impact in the lives of people within the Geelong region fighting cancer.
The nursery redevelopment project has received strong support from the local community, including our corporate partners, community groups and individuals.
In February 2015, The Special Care Nursery redevelopment project was completed. This nursery was only possible due to strong local support between the Barwon Health Foundation, Appeal Partners and the community, which helped to raise $3.8 million needed for the project.
