This event is generously hosted by Tuckers Funeral and Bereavement Services and helps to raise funds for St Mary’s Parish and the Les & Trevor Cole Fund. 2015 marks the 13th annual Melbourne Welsh Choir concert that Tuckers has hosted in Geelong. Each year this concert attracts around 700 people and fills the pews at St Mary’s Basilica.
The choristers performed songs from traditional Welsh hymns and anthems, spirituals, selections from Broadway shows, and some famous operatic choruses. The audience also participated in a sing along to some famous war songs – another lovely afternoon of song.
