A Special Story

After the death of a loved one, finding a new hobby to invest your time in can be a rewarding way to distract yourself occasionally and give you something to look forward to. Creative hobbies like arts and crafts will give you a sense of achievement, while physical activities like sports will boost the chemicals in your brain responsible for positive emotions and keep you healthy.

We were recently in contact with the wife of ‘Ken’ who we conducted a funeral for last year, She advised us that she had taken up painting and wanted to donate a painting as a sign of her appreciation.

On Friday she delivered her painting to Tuckers and written on the back is a lovely note;

“To the team at Tuckers, Thank you for looking after Ken with Dignity and Respect.”

The painting is called “Tranquillity”

What a beautiful way to honour the memory of Ken.
