Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness. But it doesn’t have to be that way. This year I’m taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need.
Whilst the CEO Sleepout might look a little different this year, I am still committed to helping out this event. Instead of sleeping out at the footy ground, I will be pitching a tent out the front of the Tuckers Grovedale Chapel, it will still be cold, still be uncomfortable and really give me the experience of what so many face night after night.
Now more than ever it is important to lend a helping hand to those thousands of Australians experience homelessness. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, I need your support. Will you help me to reach my target? Donating 50 dollars can make a huge difference to people who need it most.
Any contribution would be greatly appreciated, every dollar makes a difference.
What is the Vinnies CEO Sleepout?
The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is a one-night event over one of the longest and coldest nights of the year. Hundreds of CEOs, business owners as well as community and government leaders sleep outdoors to support the many Australians who are experiencing homelessness and people at risk of homelessness. Each CEO Sleepout participant commits to raising thousands of dollars to help Vinnies provide essential services to the people who need them.
Last year, the Vinnies CEO Sleepout raised 7.9 million dollars for people experiencing homelessness and people at risk of homelessness. This year we can make an even bigger impact.
