Tributes

  1. I would like to send my condolences to Les’ family.
I know he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him in the Geelong area.
Les was my neighbor and such a very good friend. We would catch up every afternoon for a good old chat and also enjoyed a cold beer together.
He was a really lovely man, very caring, great sense of humor and we got on so well. He always had interesting stories and jokes to tell.
After my husband passed away Les told me that I would never be on my own as long as he was still alive, and he really did mean every word he said.
He was also very well known around the Geelong district.
He could tell so many interesting stories about his life. I really do miss him terribly. He passed away 2 weeks before his 96th birthday.
