  2. To Alan, Matron, Emmie and families

We are very sorry for the loss of Uncle Les.
We have known the Dove family since Jodie was 2, which would make it about 55 years. I think that Is right (Jodie do wees) isn’t it?
We lived beside each other in Laverton and it started there.

Uncle Les taught his number one daughter Leesa to walk.

We got posted to Kingswood 3 months later and you all headed to Sydney. Always together (weekends) after that we where posted back to Sunshine and the Doves to Laverton and then we moved to Lara. We were still in contact …. Camping trips to Walhalla when all the kids were little.

We then headed to Lara and the Dove family came down for many dinners. The Dove kids started throwing peas at our kids during these many meals only when no one was watching and Leesa always said it was the Dove mids who started it. After we got a transfer to Townsville, the Doves decided to call Lara home. But we still kept in touch, as we do today with the kids.

We have had many happy trips with Joy and Les around the place and enjoyed every moment. Even when Les and Mum started to go down hill we still went out and enjoyed our selves.

Les will be missed by everyone in his family and second kids who’s photo he carried around in his wallet …. The Anderson kids not his own from 1972 and I guess it’s still in his wallet now.

I am sorry we are not there for you all, but we saw Les two weeks ago when we were there.

Lots of Love to you all and kind regards .

    Love The Anderson Family Townsville

PS… I didn’t mention the maggots in the chicken while camping.
