In November of each year, Tuckers extend their Funeral and Bereavement Care Program to the wider Geelong community by hosting a special evening service called ‘Time to Remember’.
This service is aimed at helping people prepare for the Christmas period in particular. Providing a warm and inviting environment where it is ‘safe’ to express grief, people are able to participate by writing a message, candle lighting and/or a balloon release. It is a way for people to spend some quiet time and focus on their memories. All aspects of the evening respect the individuality of the grief experience while providing the opportunity for inclusion.
‘Time to Remember’ will be held on the evening of Monday November 27th, 6.45pm (for a 7pm start) at Tuckers Highton Chapel, Barrabool Hills Centre, 4-32 Province Boulevard, Highton.
The event is free to attend and we encourage you to bring family or a friend.
Following the main part of the program, there will be time to connect with Tucker’s staff and celebrants while enjoying supper and a RSVP is required for catering purposes.
