1. O dear oh. To find you have passed is a heartache nothing but a heart ache. You were my dear friend from 1967 until 1972 when I began midwifery training in Melbourne. I lost contact with you but kept a place for you in my heart. At Geelong Palais you were an enthusiastic, marvelous entertainer who sparkled. God bless you, you big hearted, kind man. Thank you for making this world a happier place.

2. Sad time for Barry’s family and friends. He has been a mate of mine for nearly all of our 73 years. He has bought a lot of laughs to many people over the years with his act and a lot of enjoyment with his music.
