  2. Norm
Norm will be forever remembered by myself as the rock behind the Barclay clan, happily welcoming me into the family for the year in Warrandyte, to his love of a glass of red by an open fire and recently always ready to share a yarn of his travels around the world. Will be so missed by myself and all of the Rodgers family. Love to Nolie, Mike, Kirst and Lise.
Thinking of you all on Wednesday from afar.
    Love Trace

  3. My deepest condolences to Nola, Mike, Lisa, Kirsten and the extended family. Such wonderful memories of spending so much time with the Barclay’s growing up. Norm was always so full of life and I’m struggling to believe he is no longer with us. Devastated I can’t be there on Wednesday but will be thinking of you all.

  4. Such a gorgeous, quiet man, with a an amazing dry sense of humor. Fierce whistler. So many great memories. So thankful I was able to visit with my Barclay’s last trip home. Sending love to Noel, Michael, Lisa, Kirst & families.

  5. To Nola, Mike, Lisa, Kirsten and families. My condolences on Norm’s passing! I have the fondest childhood memories of get togethers and tunes in all our backyards! I am also remembering how Dad and Norm both enjoyed each other’s rather quirky sense of humour!!!
I will never forget my time in Hong Kong with you guys and how much fun and hilarity was had by all. I’m so sorry I can’t be there on Wednesday but I will be thinking of Norm and sending my love to you all. Leigh Williams (née Hawking).

  6. I remember ‘Uncle’ Norm as a quiet, unassuming, lovely man with a cheeky sense of humour. Mum and Dad loved their visits with Nola and Norm and us kids would love to be there too. A particular quote from Norm will always be part of our family lore. “My God, part of it’s missing” referring to a rather boozy evening when the moon came up over the Warrandyte balcony. Nola, Michael, Lisa, Kirsten and families, our thoughts are with you all. Love Jane & Ian, Disey, Jess (the adorable) and Mat.

  7. Some of my happiest childhood memories are with Norm and the Barclays. Billy carts at Watsonia. Model plans at Warrandyte.
Snow skiing at Mt Buller. Windy and wet holidays at Sandy point. Thanks for being part of it Norm. Love to Nola, Michael, Lisa, Kirst and families.

  11. Rest In peace Norm. I have saved my best bottle of red to bring with me when I pass over to the other side so we can sit down once more, drink to friends, reminisce about the fun we had in Hongkong together, the meals we shared, the places we went and the many laughs we had. I will always remember those times with you.
