Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Jenny Blake, to be held at Tuckers Chapel, Barrabool Hills Centre, 4-32 Province Boulevard, Highton on Wednesday 1st May 2024 at 2pm following a private cremation.

Jenny driving us home from band practice, Geelong to Inverleigh with 5 kids squashed into the Falcon!

Dear Jenny, you were a trusted colleague, a valued advisor and a dear friend to all of us who worked with you on the Physiotherapy Board. You often challenged us to think about things differently. You were always thinking about how to help the vulnerable, the under-privileged and the under-represented in our society. You were a kind and generous woman with a lot of energy and a warm laugh. To others Jenny was an academic, mayor, councillor and public servant. To me she was a close family friend who I called Aunty Jenny. She was a role model and inspiration to me as a woman in leadership. She was an incredible cook and I still make her famous no fail sponge cake. Jenny was no nonsense with a great sense of humour
Will miss those funny impromptu meals that you shared with us when visiting your Tocumwal refuge. Always sharing those wonderful memories of the times that both our families had growing up together.

It has been my privilege to know Jenny Blake as a colleague and friend serving on the Physiotherapy Board of Australia together since 2015. Jenny has been a passionate, dedicated and effective Board member whose contributions were highly respected and valued. She will be sorely missed.
