David Rowley BLIGHT

2/2/1966 – 6/3/2024

Dearly loved husband of Susie and father of Alexander and Penelope. David’s energy and humour will be missed greatly by his wide circle of family, friends and colleagues. He travelled much, had an open mind, and had a lot of fun.

David died peacefully after a brave battle with MND — he never gave up.

  8. David will be missed by us all. He was always positive, fun to be around and generous to those about him. He loved to have a yarn and a drink or two, proud of his family and his achievements in life. Our memories of days skiing with the entire family will be held dearly. THE LEISTER FAMILY

May the love of your angel softly enfold you.
Gently uplift you, comfort and hold you.
    The spirit rejoices
when our loved ones are finally home.
A great soul has left this earthly life and will be deeply missed until we meet
    David again.
    The darker the night,
    the brighter the stars,
    the deeper the grief,
    the closer is God.
    Earth has no sorrow
    that Heaven cannot heal.
When you lose someone you love, you gain an angel
    you know.
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.
    Rest in peace David Blight.
