He pushed the boundaries. He slipped up now and then on this or that. He believed in loyalty to his mates. He stirred the pot. He deserved an Order of Australia for his work with troubled. Family mattered heaps. And he knew he was such a lucky fella to meet a woman called Sophie. I salute him. 9/10 Michael.
Dear Michael today I lost a dear friend of 20years plus The last year I’ve seen you battle with cancer and it broke my heart. Today you rest in peace. I will miss you greatly, I am a better person for knowing you, better for loving you, and for having met you. May you be as blessed in the next life, my friend, as I was in this one by knowing you. My life was blessed.
I will always remember the times we went for coffee/ lunch and shared a couple of wines or three. ……We would travel down the highway to watch the Essendon/ Geelong games at the MCG and drank so much wine/champagne or go to Kardinia Park to watch Geelong, and yes we consumed some wines.Theses are but a few memories in which I will always treasure…Will miss our chats 💜💜 💜
To Sophie Barb and Family my deepest condolences , he was wonderful person.
Sophie thank you being there for Michael you bought so much happiness to him, he adored you
My deepest sympathies to Sophie, Barbara and Miranda.
Coxy – you were such a great bloke. We had some great times on and off the cricket field back in the Newtown days, which will always make me smile. Your quick wit and dry sense of humour was a highlight of our car trips to and from the matches!
Taken way too soon my friend, but I’m glad you are now at peace. You were so brave in your fight, time to rest.
See you again one day mate…….H
My deepest condolences to Michael’s family. I have the fondest memories of teaching Michael at Highton primary school in the prep grade. He was a darling student with a twinkle in his eyes. All my love Pam McGarigle
