  3. Ron, Caitlin, Tom and family,

My sincere condolences to you on the shock passing of Katrina. My thoughts are with you in this difficult time.

I will have my fondest memories of Katrina, from when I first started at Deakin, being next door to her office and throughout our chats, musings and laughter and fun, both at work to our more recent social get togethers.

She was truly someone very special, a true mate and someone who you could count on. Her care and support knew no bounds.

I will greatly miss her and will cherish the privilege to have known her.

    With love,
    Steven Dimovski

  5. Dear Ron, Caitlin, Tom and Family,

I was shocked and saddened to hear that your precious Wife and Mother had passed away.

I knew Katrina from high school and then later at Deakin where she was a wonderful union rep and colleague.

She was a lovely friend too!

There weren’t many of us that didn’t pass through Katrina’s door to sit down and have a ‘chat’ at one stage or another. She was a patient listener with a calm demeanor and always had words of wisdom and comfort for us.

I wish I could do that for you now, but all I can do is wish you comfort and strength hoping that the wonderful memories of her will support you, especially now, and bring a smile to your face in the future.

I am so very sorry for you loss. She will be greatly missed.

    With Deepest Sympathy,
    Yvonne Gilbert ♥️
