Tributes
To Helen, Belinda, Michelle, Helen, Jules, Bern and your families,
Sincere sympathy to you all at this difficult time. Thank you for sharing his wonderful service, I really appreciated hearing the great KFM stories and seeing the typically Murph photos. No doubt there were lots more stories at the wake :) I hope the many memories help you through these sad times. Sorry I couldn’t be with you
Lots of love MaureenHelen & Family.
Kevin and I spent a fair bit of time together in our early lives when he lived at Korong Vale.
We both worked as night telephone boys, Kevin at the Vale and I was at Inglewood.
We were Postal Clerks together in the PMG in Melbourne and we spent many a good time at Windy Hill and other away games as fanatical Essendon supporters. Celebrated wins and commiserated losses generally in a convenient pub.
Kevin had a passion for all sports and punting.
I last caught up with Kevin in 2016 when I was passing through Lorne on a holiday with my son.
I watched Kevin’s service online today and many of the comments and tributes sparked memories of my own.
May I pass on my condolences to you and the girls and the extended family.
I feel that a part of my life has been removed but the memories of our times together as young blokes in the big city will never be forgotten.
