Peacefully left us on 09.04.2020, aged 87 years.

Great-Granny to Toby, Aniela, Sean, Genevieve, Zac, Scarlett, Liam, Lucas, Mia and Albie.
Loved sister of Bernard and Aunty to Danny and Shelley.
We can’t know why some things happen but we can know that there’s a place inside the heart where love lives always and where nothing beautiful is ever forgotten.
We wish to express our sincere thanks to Brentwood for the many years of special care given to Merle.

Very sad to read of my good friend Merles passing and how she had obviously been sick for such a long time.
I came to know Merle when I bought In Barwon Heads and I was then fortunate to work with her as a partner in real estate on the peninsula.
She was a friend to all who were lucky enough to come into her life. We would pull up to any house and she could always tell me what the past sales were and the last time it was sold.
Merle had no equal in real estate in Ocean Grove.
She was a caring and lovely person and I am truly glad to be able to call her my friend.
Deepest sympathy to Keith, Chris, Michelle, Kym and all her family.
