Tributes

  1. Brian, so sorry to learn of your passing. You were a good mate and Jen, Vicky, Robbie and I enjoyed many great days at Pony Club with you, Pam and Suzanne. You never missed a working bee and your building expertise was invaluable when we built cross country courses.
Our deepest condolences to Pam and Suzanne at this sad time.
Rest In Peace, we will always remember you fondly.

John and Jenny Pederson and family.

  2. You were a part of us and families. No family occasion was complete without Brian…and without Brian falling asleep after lunch. Although you moved on, you were still always “there”. You never did get that train ride. You have left us with loving memories. Francine and Chris.

  3. Brian, we knew you and Pam for many years, worked on and off with you for more years than we can remember.
We had plenty of laughs, and plenty of disagreements.
By the end of the day the disagreements were forgotten, and the laughs continued.
    Rest in Peace Mate

  4. To my stepfather of 47 years, you were a brave man to marry my Mum knowing she had 7 children but you loved our Mum, Pamela Joy, and took the good with the bad, not always quietly but you both always backed each other no matter what. You were Pop to my 3 children, Nigel, Neville & Julie-Anne and 29 other grandchildren of Mum’s. Rest In Peace.

  5. Farewell to my beloved husband of 47 years. We shared so many wonderful years together. From meeting at Parents Without Partners and our beginnings in Chelsea Heights, to our years traveling Australia with Suzanne in our custom built Capricorn caravan, to our many happy years in Camperdown on our 5 acre farm. We renovated the house together, just you, me and Suzanne with your father coming down occasionally to help. They were special years with us attending our wonderful Old Time Dance Club with our valued friends Vi and Albert Beasley. We loved attending Emu Creek Pony Club where you were a committee member. You drove Suzanne to all of her horse events and were her greatest supporter. One of her horses even broke your arm one day when we were loading it on the float, but you insisted on getting to our destination and home again before seeking medical treatment. It was a bad break and you must have been in pain. I love that you traveled to visit me in my nursing home in the later part of your life and we had a wonderful time reminiscing. I treasure the photos of that day.
Sleep well in the knowledge that you are loved and remembered always.
    With all my love
    Pam.

  6. We spent many hours plastering together and entertaining together. Unfortunately time catches up with us all. We so much enjoyed you coming to your home town Moe, and sharing a meal and good times together near the end.

    Rest in peace.

    Gary.

  7. In loving memory of my beloved stepfather of 47 years.
Thank you for all the years of love and support and for all that you
taught me in life. You taught me respect and good manners, you
taught me to ride a pushbike, drive a car and reverse a horse float.
Because of you, I can use power tools, change the oil in my car and
change a tyre. You insisted on teaching me to dance, even though
I have two left feet. You tried to teach me to swim, but that was never
going to be a success. To this day I could just about drown in a bathtub.
Thank you for the years of tirelessly driving me to pony club, riding lessons
and to my many equestrian competitions.
Thank you for the nights you followed me outside in the rain, wind
and storms to hold a torch and a lead rope while I put a rug on a
horse that I felt couldn’t possibly cope without one. Thank you for
building me a stable for precisely that reason.
Most importantly, thank you for being the person who sat with my
deathly ill newborn son in hospital while Mum stayed with me. It
helped me more than you knew to know that someone who loved him,
was with him, when I was too unwell to be there myself.
Mum always said, any man can be a father but only the best can be a Dad.
I’ll forever cherish your last few trips back home and our last meal
out together and I’ll do what you asked me to do. I will miss our weekly
phone calls and remember you with love always.
    Sleep easy and peacefully.
    With love
    Suzanne.
