Tributes
Riet played an important part in my journey of faith. I moved in with Riet on my 18th birthday and stayed with her until l got married. She knew me only as a friend of her friends. I was treated as her daughter in the time l was with her. She showed me how her faith worked out in her life. She had nursed my mother through a number of pregnancies so nknew bit about my birth family. I will always be grateful for her opening up her heart and home to me. . It has been a model for my own life, to provide a place of refuge for those in need.
