  4. Deepest sympathy to Cheryl, Rhonda, Julie, Naomi and families. A lovely lovely lady who will be sadly missed. We never once missed a catch up when we visited Geelong and we always knew where to find Aunty Val. At the Newsagent buying the paper, guiding all the children across the road, at the camp or at home. We will miss you dearly. Love Kathryn (Wedding) and Mike Mitchell

  5. Deepest sympathy to all of Val’s family. Val sat with our group at the football at Kardinia Park for many years and we enjoyed barracking for the Cats together. She was a true supporter (win or lose!) and wonderful company.

  7. Dear Rhonda
I have such fond memories of your Mum and how she made me feel so comfortable when I camped with your family at St Leonard’s one Summer. It was our job to walk to the service station to buy fresh rolls every day and she’d make us a beautiful lunch with them.
We also often bumped into her at Safeway, Highton where we talked for a long time. She was always so interested in what was going on with the Geelong Football Club and with our children. If my memory is correct, she came to a couple of local theatre productions our children were performing in. what a lovely lady. she will be missed.
I am currently in Queensland on holidays, otherwise, we would have been there to support you.
