Passed away peacefully at Epworth Hospital on the 9th September 2021 aged 78 years.
Dearly loved husband of Marlene.
Adored Dad of John Jr, Tamara and Jamie (dec).
Loving father-in-law of Carolyn and Paul.
Cherished Pop of Ashlee, Brooke, Rachael, Harry, Jack, Holly, Lara and Shanae, and great grandfather (Pop) to Xander.
Special thanks to the staff of Epworth ICU and 5 West for all their loving care.
God saw that you were weary,
He did what he thought best,
and gently held you in His arms,

The Chairman & Members of the Rotary Bowelscan Committee extend their sincere condolences to Marlene and family of John.
John was a member of the Rotary Club of Belmont and the second Chairman of the Committee. He led and inspired the contributors to the program for fifteen years to the benefit of Geelong, Victoria, Rotary and the countless lives saved by the early detection of Colorectal Cancer.
He exemplified throughout all his life the Rotary Theme of “Serve to Change Lives”.
