Barwon Health Foundation
Tuckers Funeral and Bereavement Service supports and is committed to the Barwon Health Foundation.
From the Tucker family to three generations of the Cole family, and now as part of the InvoCare group, our spirit of generosity and commitment to Geelong has never wavered.
Whether we're sponsoring local sporting clubs, supporting community events or partnering with care facilities and hospitals, each of our funeral homes has deep, treasured relationships across Geelong. Our commitment to giving back isn't new; it's been part of who we are since 1883.
We actively invest in the people and places that make Geelong home. From the Barwon Health Foundation and Geelong Gallery to local bowls clubs, football teams and charity organisations, we support more than 70 community groups annually. We also host meaningful memorial services like our annual Time to Remember event before Christmas, plus free seminars on grief, funeral planning and estate matters to open conversations that help families feel informed and supported.
We're proud to honour the customs and traditions of the cultures that call Geelong home. Over the years, our funeral directors have built strong relationships with Macedonian, Serbian Orthodox, Jewish, Muslim, Christian and other faith communities, ensuring every service reflects the beliefs and values that matter most.
Dr Deb Harley and Amy Fisher are back to offer the community up to date information from their field of expertise, with time for questions.
For those interested in understanding more about funeral plans and how they work and relate to end of life planning, Funeral Directors Alyson Burchell and Robyn Wood will give a short presentation and be available afterwards for question time.
Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be served between the 2 main speakers.
